• Question or Goal: Open data metadata constantly getting overwritten each month, even if it now takes 30 min, is a bit redundant. Having to re-generate metadata associated with a feature class seems to occur when we delete a feature class and create it from a zipped shapefile over and over.

• Research Required:

• Test out whether the ArcGIS geoanalytics package that's available can help us convert a geoparquet directly to feature class?

Closing - geoanalytics package requires additional Arc licenses, also some connection to a Spark database.
Also, pandas.spatial extension doesn't work...even though the syntax looks remarkably similar to geopandas, Arc insists on tacking on modules to pandas
