Description

Package installation fails when a certain package has colon (Epoch separator) on its version via apt-get installation. It doesn't occur on dpkg installation

Findings

Apt-get automatically renames package filename, updating the version segment with colon replaced by %3a. During apt-get installation, it can't recognize the ones downloaded by cube-get, treating it as not downloaded and will cause installation not to proceed.

Todo

  • Follow apt-get package rename process
