Redesigning the "Who is using CaMicroscope" Section #700
Comments
I am an outreachy participant too I want to work on this issue that was why I created it |
We don't usually assign issue reports, so we'll look at any open pulls. I'm a little behind now though! |
Oohkay I would work on it and do a pr |
Also, I'll note that. It's ok if two different people make a PR on the same thing. Depending on the issue, we may be able to merge both. I'll make a quick discussion post about issues and prs sometime. |
Alright sir |
@birm i did a design and prototype of this section so i would like you to pick one of the two iterations and it has interactions that would make it better than it is currently so please you can check the figma link and choose which i should develop https://www.figma.com/file/jsJ1bFhLsluGCp0CQcJeqs/Untitled?type=design&node-id=1%3A25&mode=design&t=wEDBWixEaEPLZGKF-1 |
Closed due to lack of activity. I think this is a reasonable idea, but should go on the camicroscope.github.io repo, and probably should just be a PR, as the submitter already had a design in mind. |
I propose redesigning the Who is using section of caMicroscope that deals with user interactions, focusing on improving usability, accessibility, and user experience.
The current user interface of caMicroscope is functional but lacks the modern standards of usability and accessibility. Redesigning this section will not only enhance the overall user experience but also make the platform more inclusive for users with disabilities. Additionally, it will align caMicroscope with contemporary design practices, improving its appeal to a wider audience.
Use Cases:
Redesigning the user interaction section will streamline common workflows, reducing the time and effort required to perform tasks such as image analysis, annotation, and sharing. and a responsive design will enable users to access caMicroscope seamlessly across various devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
Implementation
Conduct user research to understand the specific pain points and preferences of caMicroscope's target audience.
Implement the redesign using m frontend technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript if needed
Expected Impact
The redesigned user interaction section will lead to increased user satisfaction, as users will find it easier and more enjoyable to navigate and use caMicroscope.
The proposed redesign aligns with industry best practices for user-centered design and accessibility. It will require collaboration across multiple disciplines, including design, development, and user experience research. Continuous feedback and iteration will be essential throughout the implementation process to ensure that the final product meets the needs and expectations of caMicroscope's users.
