When you download Ubuntu desktop you are offered a link to verify the download. This links should provide the checksums of the file but it only redirected me to tutorials.
This works well in server.
Steps to reproduce the behavior
Download Ubuntu Desktop on the production site
Click verify download link
See it takes you to a guide instead of providing the checksum of the download
Expected behavior
It should show the checksum.

I see what you mean, but I would ask if is it up to us to decide if the "verify the download" points to tutorial or reveals the checksum. Since former isn't entirely wrong, is there someone we shall ask before we change this?
Yes, I did that. I just wanted to check if it's alright to go ahead and mimic the process("revealing checksum") we have on servers downloads. (more like if there are any stakeholders that must be involved in this?)
