I have confirmed NASA's Kepler Space Telescope catalogue (Kepler Object of Interest (KOI) and Kepler-xxx appears to be loaded into Elite Dangerous. The reason this is important:
The main goal of the this mission was exoplanet detection
Secondary goal was metallacity (this determines which population a star falls under) and is useful in detecting exceptionally old stars
Prior Elite games and novels have suggested in the past that Raxxla is exceptionally old (now whether this is cannonical is a matter of debate)
Raxxla Codex has an indirect reference to "star lover" and "star"
Why to add this new map and why this catalogue?
These stars are spread out across the galaxy. This would give at least a visual idea of where older stars exist. Whilst not officially confirmed as cannon this would further our goals by isolating regions that may be relevant to our search for Raxxla.
a new map
Possible Solution
Visually may help locate potential search zones for Raxxla
Context
Trying to see if the KOI and Kepler-xxx systems are relevant to the "star lover/Astrophel/Astrophil" part of the Raxxla Codex

Updated to reflect API calls necessary for pulling all systems named "Kepler-{###}" and "KOI {###}". API pulls name, coordinates, and if permit locks are applicable.
