I found the R installation and setup steps to be difficult. I am primarily a Python user, and the instructions assumed a lot of familiarity with R.
It was my original intent that the setup instructions would be understandable by a wide audience1, but this comment shows that this is not always the case. I appreciate the honest feedback and would like to improve the setup instructions so that it is more friendly to folks who do not use R.
Thus, I have two questions for folks who do not normally use R:
In what ways does the setup documentation assume a lot of familiarity with R?
Is there any wording that you think can be improved to clarify the instructions?
