should we consider adding automated accessibility testing as a GitHub Action before deployment (e.g., https://github.com/pa11y/pa11y-ci)?

We could use it to ensure that we don't introduce features to the next version of the template that could reduce accessibility.

Low priority given that we first need the template.

I think this is a good idea and I agree with the priority-rating.
