Highlighted news cards on homepage update content and formatting. #40

I think my edits for the cards on the research page made the cards on the homepage look not as good. It thought I had checked them, but I must have not checked them on my final edits. We could just make separate card types for each page.

We also need to update which cards are show. The news is pretty old. Highlight some newer content or write new news content.
