Previously, we had intended to make use of the Intake data catalog library to annotate and distribute PUDL data, and correspondingly had set up cloud buckets for distribution:
gs://intake.catalyst.coop
s3://intake.catalyst.coop
However, we found the Intake interface difficult to work with and ill-suited to working with SQLite databases, and in the end we decided not to use it. As a result, we're switching to a more generic name for these buckets (which we probably should have used from the get-go):
So, if you happen to have anything pointing directly at the old buckets / URLs, now would be a good time to update, as the old URLs will break shortly.

These buckets contain exactly the same data as the old

buckets, and the direct HTTPS download URLs have been updated in our nightly build output access docs and the AWS Open Data Registry for a while. So, if you happen to have anything pointing directly at the old buckets / URLs, now would be a good time to update, as the old URLs will break shortly.
