I use Latte variant in my grub theme. It is very hard to recognize words in grub menu editor.

IMG_20240419_170231_Arcide-LMC8 4-OP9P-v7 1 MP

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install last catppuccin Latte grub theme. I use NixOS and install it using catppuccin/nix.
  2. Reboot into grub, move cursor to any item, press e to edit this item.
  3. Find it hard to recognize.

Is there something wrong with my installation? Or was it supposed to be like this?

Did you install catppuccin/nix as your grub theme or catppuccin/grub?

Try settings $GRUB_THEME to "" and updating grub:

sudo grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg

Then try following the steps on the README again.
