This will help us catch delegation token renewal issues. The config parameters that need to be changed for HDFS are -

  • dfs.namenode.delegation.token.renew-interval - 600000
  • dfs.namenode.delegation.token.max-lifetime - 600000

We'll also need to reduce the token time for other services like HBase, YARN RM, Hive Metastore, etc. For a list of delegation tokens that CDAP uses - https://github.com/caskdata/cdap/blob/develop/cdap-app-fabric/src/main/java/co/cask/cdap/security/TokenSecureStoreUpdater.java#L76
