Updating from 2.3.13 to 2.4.2 does not work. I can log in, but the "Loading license information" part of the system status page stays on loading (spinner), and the client and topics pages are empty. The console prints these errors over and over:
Version 2.4 is not yet officially tested and released (we started with that yesterday and will hopefully have an official release this week or next). Sorry for the confusion!
Reminder to us: we should add a suffix like "-rc" to the version number until we have an official release.
Ok, I will keep the 2.3.13 version for now. Thanks!

That would help.
It would also be better to publish the code as releases instead of just tagging it. In GitHub, one can subscribe to be notified of new releases, but not of new tags. This way, we would not have to check regularly for new versions; we would receive a notification.
