Multiple collDate elements can exist and are allowed in profile but currently only one start date and one end date is being indexed and shown. Example of study FSD3432 with multiple dates in Aila OAI-PMH and how it looks like in CDC UI.

This was discussed in sprint meeting for Q4 and conclusion was that there is no metadata element present in what we harvest that indicate the connection of start and end dates. As I see it we are limited by what we get here and it is not possible to solve this.

A solution could be to ask for additional metadata from SPs that would indicate a connection of dates, but I am unsure if such a field exists within DDI.

A temporary fix that possible only ensures correct data is that this information is only displayed in CDC if 1 set of dates is present in the metadata.
