As I'm not sure what this packaging feature should look like, I quote @gavinking :

I guess it would be nice if ceylon war packaged .js files into a scripts directory except we’re actually looking into some slightly more sophisticated stuff than this. For example, a servlet that proxies the CMR

This is related to eclipse-archived/ceylon-sdk#453, but it is for Servlet containers.
