Alan from Markets will be speaking with the CBA small business committee. He asked us if we have any items we would like him to cover. I'm proposing two slides, one directing the audience to the beta platform and encouraging them to use the platform. The second slide will be reserved for questions.
Here's the content for the first slide:
The beta for the Small Business Lending Filing Platform
The CFPB is pleased to announce the availability of the beta platform for the small business lending data collection rule. We invite the participation of financial institutions and their technology partners to test the beta platform and share feedback with the CFPB on their experience. Please feel free to share this information with other colleagues within your organization or partners who may benefit from participating in this beta test.
Getting started with the beta platform
Access the beta for the Small Business Lending Filing Platform
This information is also available in our small business landing page. If you have any question regarding the platform or would like to provide feedback email SBLHELP@cfpb.gov
Here's the content for the second slide
We Need Your Input
Question 1:
As part of improving the platform, we are looking to expand the file upload feature to handle larger files. Currently, the maximum file size for upload is 50 MB, but we want to ensure our platform meets your needs.
When you upload files, how large to do you expect them to be (in gigabytes)? If you have an idea of the typical size or range, we would love to hear about it.
Question 2:
We offer a template in EPS format, which is a type of file used for creating and editing high-quality graphics. The template allows you to modify and generate your own forms for collecting demographic data.
Is your institution currently using this EPS template to create or modify your demographic form for demographic data collection? If not, do you think you would use it in the future?
