Special Note for Version 2.0
Most version 1 jobs for controlling Dexter will not work properly in v2 because we have changed
the default units from microns, arcseconds, milliseconds to meters, degrees, seconds.
In the doc pane at top level under Release Notes, you will see "Convert V1 to V2" to help update.
You will also notice several releases since the last public one. As always, we recommend reading
all those release notes. There have been a lot of improvements since V1. Many of them have been
improvements to the help system and documentation, making this by far the best version of DDE yet.

New Users
We don't recommend that you read all those release notes as everything "new" is
folded into the main documentation and UI, as always. There is, however, one new feature we need feedback on.
The "Run Instruction" dialog box is our new favorite way for getting started, making it
especially easy to get Dexter moving without typing,
yet still helping you learn how to write complex programs. But invoking this dialog is a bit
clever. There are advantages to this cleverness, though if people can't figure it out,
those advantages aren't worth it. So if you struggle to figure out how to bring up
this dialog, tell us and we'll make it more obvious.
