Hi @venkuppu-chn ,

Kibiter is a soft-fork of Kibana, the difference between Kibiter and Kibana is based on some plugins that we install. We are currently working on migrating these plugins to the Kibana 7.X versions.

I recommend you to use Kibana until these plugins are migrated, once migrated, the change between Kibana and Kibiter should be harmless.

Thanks!

Hi @dlumbrer . Any progress on it?

It would be good not to use EOL-ed version there

And btw, latest version of elastic search is 8.4.3 now.

Kibiter will be discontinued soon and we won't longer offer any support on it. Also, grimoirelab won't work with ElasticSearch because all our efforts we'll be focus on using OpenSearch as the storage and display platform. However, if someone will like to contribute giving support to ElasticSearch, that will be great.
