Some questions to consider:

  • How generally applicable should the module be?
  • What is the process of API review?
    • Should the author propose the module through a CHIP?
  • Is testing coverage enforced?
  • Should the module follow a style guide?
  • What are the stepping stones between mason package and standard module?
    • Do we have a trial period for packages being considered into the standard library?
