- Read our Code of Conduct.
- Join our Slack. You should receive the email immediately after self-invite.
- Join the channel specific to your hacknight:
- DTLA: #dtla-hacknight
- Westside (Santa Monica): #westside-hacknight
- SOLA (Inglewood): #sola-hacknight
- Explore the Hack for LA website for projects near you.
- Complete the new member [survey form] - LINK FORTHCOMING.
- Bring your questions to the hacknight, or ask them on Slack:
- Each project has its own Slack channel, and you can find the whole list by clicking on "Channels" in Slack.
- General questions can be posted in the #general channel.
- Setup up your GitHub account:
- Sign up for a GitHub account.
- Set up two factor authentication.
- Mark your Hack for LA organization membership public.
