React Task Manager

This React Task Manager is a simple yet powerful tool to help individuals and teams track their tasks efficiently. The app is designed with a modern user interface and provides functionalities to create, view, update, and delete tasks.

Features

  • Create Tasks: Add new tasks with a title, description, and status.
  • View Tasks: See all tasks in an organized list.
  • Task Details: View details of a task, including its status.
  • Update Tasks: Edit the details of a task and update its status.
  • Delete Tasks: Remove tasks that are no longer needed.

Getting Started

Before running the project, you need to have Node.js and npm installed on your system. You can download them from Node.js website.

Installing

A step by step series of examples that tell you how to get a development environment running.

Clone the repository to your local machine:

git clone https://github.com/your-username/react-task-manager.git

Navigate to the project directory:

cd react-task-manager

Install the dependencies:

npm install

Start the development server:

npm start

The application will open in your default web browser at http://localhost:3000.

API Reference

The following endpoints are used by the application:

  • GET /api/v1/tasks: Retrieves all tasks.
  • POST /api/v1/tasks: Creates a new task.
  • GET /api/v1/tasks/:id: Retrieves task details.
  • PATCH /api/v1/tasks/:id: Updates a task.
  • DELETE /api/v1/tasks/:id: Deletes a task.
