It has been a long time coming, and many of you have been patient as we have worked to release PYroMat version 2.2.0. This is the first in a long series of exciting updates to PYroMat that we are planning for the coming years.
In this release, you'll find an even more flexible property interface that does away with "inverse" property algorithms. Now, we just "figure it out" in the background. If you have enthalpy and pressure and you want temperature, that's what you type.
All the old inverse methods (like
T_h
) are still there for reverse compatibility.Plus, we've added more multi-phase support. Now, you can find R-1234ze and cryogenic oxygen. There are more on the way, like R-1234yf, argon, hydrogen, and others.
