Room palette filter chars don't work

Describe the bug

When switching rooms, typing #, @, and * don't filter for rooms, dms, and spaces respectively.

Reproduction

1. click the search icon or press ctrl-k
2. type *foo
3. observe that rooms and dms are included in the search results

Expected behavior

the filters should work as described

Seem to be working for me.

it looks like it's only an issue if you don't start with a filter char, ie. typing foo then adding a * at the beginning won't work?

I don't think it's intended to work like that. Those filter chars must be entered first.
