@ciotlosm Would love something like that as an addon/plugin for Home Assistant's ZHA component and not only Zigbee2MQTT

I submitted a similar suggestion to the zigpy-znp developers previously but it was closed as they did not deal with ZHA GUI.

zigpy-znp developers did, however, implement a tool for flashing TI firmware as well as the ability to backup and restore NVRAM.

@Hedda I'm not sure how this could work with zha because you need the serial port released before you can write anything to it. For zha probably you'd need capability written within the component to be able to release the serial port, and then use the add-on.

I'm still uncertain what would be the best "UI" for people to use this add-on. One option would be to just have something similar to SSH add-on with a bash script that triggers and gives you a menu of commands to use.
