It would be great to add a map with the real-time position of all our logged in users, using the mdg:geolocation package. High-frequency position updates probably wants to be opt-in. I'm envisioning this being used for runarounds, where a subset of the users can opt-in and then very easily keep HQ updated on their position (using the mobile app) as well as very easily posting pictures from their phone camera to the appropriate chat room. You might also want to give these users the option to "drop a pin" at their current location, and have that pin persist on the map. (The pins would also greatly facilitate retracing our steps if we turn out to be dubious about a particular clue on the trail.)
Then all of the "go to position X and find the clue" could be done with greater visibility at HQ and remotely -- and it would also be really fun for remotes if we do happen to win the hunt and go on the coin trail.
A low-frequency position update version of the map would also be a fun overview just to see where in the world codex hunters are... and if someone is back from their nap/food run/etc yet.
