find API-based federation partners #90
Comments
the list so far: Math Overflow; mathblogging.org / scienceseeker. Please suggest others. |
Slightly different direction, Boole's Rings is a small group of individual blogs that band together to federate their data. (I think this is a very good setting to test the wordpress platform without having to worry about as many details.) |
More to add to the list:
Most of these have not seen much use so far, but we should keep an eye on them. Scicomp.SE gets a lot of use but only a few questions/answers discuss papers. |
PeerLibrary. Not yet released though. :-) |
Look at the set of services that provide similar functionality (papers, people, recommendations) and see which ones provide an API that would enable some degree of inter-operation (sync data in both directions). Prioritize the services based on value vs. effort. Then create new issues to implement those API connections where it's worth doing.
