📝 Provide a description of the improvement

The #2907 created a breaking change that requires some plugins to be explicitly provided when running the editor.

The nice-to-have update would allow loading those plugins from a global object if available. 

Also:

Loading soft requirements from the global and on having soft-requirements "hardened" in the source version of the editor.
