Downloading multiple files simultaneously causes error on Firefox

What I did

1. Navigated to the HCA files tab on Chrome
2. Clicked on the first download download button in the list,
3. Clicked the second download button before the loading animation stopped on the first one
4. Repeated these same steps on Chrome

What I expected

Two files to download both on Firefox and on Chrome

What actually happened

On Firefox the first file downloaded and a network error occurred, with the loading animation staying around on the second download button after the error was dismissed. On Chrome both downloads proceeded as expected. A video is below, demonstrating
