Hi, thanks for your interest. The way the GPL works is that additional restrictions can't be introduced with it, but we're trying to figure out a workable approach.
Would love to see improvement here, (A)GPLv3 would be crucial for me.
There is a clause in the GPL preventing additional terms being added if it would invalidate the core freedoms carved out by the GPL, but of course a derivative license can simply remove clauses as well as adding them. A derivative license of this kind could not be referred to as being "based on the GPL" or similar because that would be confusing, but it could be presented as a Climate Strike license for fans of strong or weak copyleft.
Could we have a version for GPLv3, AGPL v3 just like the ones for MIT, BSD?
