This issue isn't present in VCV Rack -- only in Cardinal.

I've noticed that the samplers introduce what sounds like a bit of ring modulation in the 3.9 to 4.1 kilohertz range when I'm running my daw at 48k sampling rate. It goes away when I switch to 44k.
