our project relies on this component but the thrift version is lower than others.

Describe the solution you'd like

upgrade the thrift with slight changes

The version is fixed at v1.13.0 because there are breaking changes in the later version.

@ppzqh any plans to upgrade? coz some of the dependencies rely on higher version.

we may remove the dependency of apache/thrift in the later version. At that time, there will not be any restriction on the version of thrift.
