I noticed this package and the new conda-forge recipe are using GPL 3.0. I thought this package had been re-licensed with BSD-3? Just checking on that, since we'll need to be careful not to re-use code from this package in freud or other "permissively" licensed libraries if this is meant to be GPL. It looks like this copy of the repo might be out of date with Bitbucket, so maybe all that is needed is to pull those changes upstream to GitHub.
The diffractometer package was in the bitbucket cmeutils which has the BSD license. I don't think there's any plan to put diffractometer here. We can change the license though too if needed.
