I'm not sure if the default theme, Minima, has special support for a Mastodon link or not. I didn't see one on first look. May need to customize the theme footer.

It looks like it should be supported by the theme as of version 2.4.0 (https://github.com/jekyll/minima#social-networks). I'm having trouble getting it to work locally though!
