This looks really good and has lots of promising features that I need.

I especially like there STDIO aspects so that its testable.

I was wondering if its possible to have JSON as the serialisation in and out of the CLI, so that it's easier to test ?

Having json init and output woudl also make it possible to use with automation, where you can drive the CLI remotely.
