The current version is working for me, but creates a blank line in the log output for every log event. Those blank lines aren't there, they're added by the event handler.

Looks like this persons fork fixes this problem and removes the "stdout"/"stderr", which I think. Please consider merging these changes:

This fork includes the fix and more formatting features.
