Coinbase wallet triggers a "This site may be unsafe" warning and prevents wallet connection
Steps
Upon clicking on "Connect Wallet," the wallet triggers a popup with the message "This site may be unsafe. This site has been flagged as dangerous. If you continue, you could lose all of your crypto and NFTs."
Even after clicking on "Show Website" the connection is rejected by the wallet.
Upon attempting to reconnect, the wallet once again issues the warning and rejects the connection, even after clearing the cache.
This is happening on our app's website and is unfortunately delaying our launch. We're launching an onchain accountability application on Base that allows users to commit to real-world goals, like going on a run or finishing an online course. This is implemented via an escrow contract connected to our oracle -- if the user has completed the commitment, their funds are automatically returned but if not, it is sent to a charity selected by the user.
Expected behavior
I would have expected the wallet not to show this label or for more context to be displayed on how to remedy the issue. We have tried everything: changing our DNSSEC implementation, refactoring the wallet connection logic and the error remains. I couldn't find any information on how to solve this issue.
