How to get the latest shape of a schema?

Given the following schema, fetching the literal value is quite trivial:

const schema = z.object({ x: z.literal("asd") }).shape.x.value;
  // ^? "asd"

But if I apply any effect, I no longer have to shape, since the schema is no ZodEffects rather than ZodObject:

const schema = z
  .object({ x: z.literal("asd") })
  .transform((prev) => ({ ...prev, x: "asd2" }))
  .transform((prev) => ({ ...prev, x: "asd3" }));

Is there a way I could do something like schema.getFinalShape().x.value?

I was able to write something like:

const schema = z
  .object({ x: z.literal("asd") })
  .transform((prev) => ({ ...prev, x: "asd2" }))
  .transform((prev) => ({ ...prev, x: "asd3" }))
  // .refine((prev) => prev.x === "asd3"); // <-- this would break the function

function getFinalShapeOfZodObjectOrZodEffects<
  T extends z.ZodObject<any> | z.ZodEffects<any, any, any>

  if (schema instanceof z.ZodObject) {
    return schema.shape;
  }

  if (schema instanceof z.ZodEffects && schema._def.effect.type === "transform") {
    return schema._def.effect.transform(null, { addIssue: () => {}, path: [] }); // <-- It's a bit awkward
  }
}

but it would fail if the last "effect" would be a "refinement".
