Hi @colinhacks! Like many other folks, I'm really happy with zod's no nonsense approach (I chafed one too many people with io-ts in the past). It's become a fun package I plan on spending more time helping on, and it seems that's the case for others too based on the number of PRs.
With that said, some of the issues are pretty old (with the oldest one at around ~2 yrs). Also some issues aren't truly "stale" and the stalebot seems a bit aggressive. I realize this isn't that bad for a 14k repo - but I'm sure you are quite busy, so I'm wondering if there's a place where the community can get a sense of where you need help the most, or what your feature roadmap is? I took a look but couldn't find one readily available.
I started poking around at the oldest issues and encouraging folks to triage/self-report the still valid ones. However, I suppose you will want to at some point start saying "yea or nay" to some recurring themes along with ideas on implementation (i8n, etc).
Perhaps you are already doing this, but do you have other trusted collaborators with issue triage/PR review/merge privileges? Otherwise it'd be great to give people some heads-up that the turnaround time might be longer than they expect.
My whole thrust is to help you help us! A good turnaround on PR review and issue closure keeps the package healthy and makes newcomers (like myself) eager to contribute. Not to mention that it develops a sense of commitment to quality and shared ownership. Would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks again for this great tool!
