Export jabbrv bibliographu to separate file

Hi, and thanks for the work!
I was wondering if there is a way to use the jabbrv tool to export the resulting abbreviated bibliography to a separate file.
The rationale is that, unfortunately, many editors don't have jabbrv installed, and would refuse to take .sty.
