Builder plugins?

Not really sure where to put this, but there should be a place that discusses builder plugins and perhaps has a listing of some. (could that be integrated into component/search.js...?)

I've been wandering around, working on converting my app which used a couple plugins, but haven't found a good clear explanation of how they're supposed to work.

Yes, it will be helpful to have a list of builder plugins.
Lot of plugins listed in the (deprecated) wiki are not compatible with builder2 api. This may be confusing

Has there been any update on this? Our webapp uses handlebars templates and we've been using component-builder-handlebars with component(1)@0.19.9. How would we go about using component(1)@1 with handlebars templates?

The best I can get is https://github.com/timaschew/c8-experiments/blob/e10/builder.js which describes how to use the plugin in a builder.js file. Is this the recommended way? Always write a builder?
