As discussed in https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=900579#54 , not providing source for PDF doc makes it impossible for anyone to edit it, thus blocks anyone who want to improve it or add doc for new API. Please consider providing its source.

Documentation is written in TeX with a set of macros developed in-house over the course of 30 years that we use TeX for our manuals. Anyone who wants to use it, must replicate our setup, including batch files and helper programs. And be willing to write in TeX. Anyone who'd rather use LibreOffice or Docbook or markdown or LaTeX or whatever, can equally well copy & paste the text from the PDF into a new document and reapply formatting, than copy & paste the text from the source TeX file.
But, if so desired, I can upload the source TeX file.
