simple_demo from ign-rendering does not work

• I read the conda-forge documentation and could not find the solution for my problem there.

To start debugging #10, I first tried to compile and run the simple_demo from https://github.com/ignitionrobotics/ign-rendering/tree/ign-rendering5/examples/simple_demo .

git clone -b ign-rendering4 https://github.com/ignitionrobotics/ign-rendering
cd ign-rendering/examples/simple_demo
mkdir build
cd build
cmake ..
make 
./simple_demo

Unfortunatly, it does not seem to work, for an issue similar to apparently:

This seems similar to conda-forge/libignition-gazebo-feedstock#4 . However, it is on macOS (but perhaps it is also reproducible on Linux) and lower in the stack, so perhaps it is easier to debug.

simple_demo is now running fine on macOS, see #19 (comment) . The main problem that was creating the problem described in this issue was the one described in #21 (comment) and fixed in gazebosim/gz-rendering#454 .
