Kafka test container hangs indefinitely

• NPM Version [e.g. 5.4.2]: 10.7.0
• C++ Toolchain [e.g. Visual Studio, llvm, g++]: N/A
• confluent-kafka-javascript version [e.g. 2.3.3]: 0.5.2

Additional context
I initially thought this issue was related to kafka testcontainers, but when I replaced kafka-javascript I didn't run into any issues. You can see the kafkajs branch in the repo above for more details.

@alycklama , thanks for the reproducer.

I tried and could reproduce with 0.5.2, but this is similar to an issue we fixed within 1.0.0, and while using 1.0.0 the all 50 of them actually do get run to completion.

Could you see if it persists with v1.0.0 or if it's fixed?
