We have a number of users coming online that will be running production workloads under both OpenStack and Azure. We need to ensure we are running the usual spin-up smoke tests / cloud-init tests / ignition tests on these platforms.

cc @dgonyeo as I think you are working on Ignition support as well.

Ignition should support openstack as of coreos/ignition#327.

For the sake of cross-linking, here's the current efforts to add openstack support to coreos-metadata: coreos/afterburn#33.

Is having support for the config drive in openstack a priority? The coreos-metadata support only works on the metadata service (it's how vexxhost is setup). I could test/finish the config drive support if I could get a vm in a setup using the config drive.
