Monospaced fonts are harder to read than non-monospaced fonts and also take up more space (as per this typography guide).

While consistent spacing can be an advantage for code alignment, I don't think they are useful for the kanban board. Please use a non-monospaced font for the Kanban — e.g. the default sans-serif system font.
