Describe the Bug

If you select a small patch in the WMS Overlays plugin and zoom very far in the patch loses its correct shape and gets very small.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. On the top right use the search bar to navigate to "Munich"
  2. Open the "WMS Overlays" tab
  3. Select
    • WMS Server: "DWD GeoServer WMS"
    • Image Channel: "Gefühlte Temperatur"
    • Syle: "perceived temperature in Kelvin"
  4. Go to the first time step
  5. Click "Fit to screen"
  6. Zoom in

Expected Behavior

The patch should be at the geographical correct location with the correct size.

System

  • CosmoScout VR version: 1.5.0
  • OS: Windows 10
  • Compiler: Downloaded version from GitHub
  • Graphics Card: NVIDIA Quadro RTX3000
