The ability to disable text replacement in a mode

Current issue

I have text replacements set up for things like -> to turn into →, which is nice when writing plain text, but disruptive when writing code in some languages.

The solution you'd like

I would like the ability to disable "Text Replacement" along with the other substitution settings in the Mode settings panel.

Alternatives you've considered

Currently, I do this via a script, but that is obviously not very practical.
