Introduce clang-format into the project.

Add a custom .clang-format file that should specify if there are any default overrides,
one commit should reformat the whole project.
add a note to the contributing guide that suggest the conde should be formatted before submission.

With this, it should be easier to maintain and read the codebase, especially when multiple contributors arise.
