i have just turned up a server and it all works great except i am having issues when i try to send a message from my aprs radio to my email. the aprsd server generates and send the email with a FROM address of "username"@nodomain.com. username being the username of my user on my email server
I have my own email server and in order to have aprsd login i had to use just the first part of the email address for the imap and smpt login username info in the aprsd conf file. i have tried putting in the whole email address but the aprsd server wont long in with that... nor will any email client ive tried. so i know the issue is that my email server cant use the whole email address as the user login name for smtp and imap authentication. so since i have only giving it the beginning of the full email address the system appears to also use that as the FROM email address.
is there way way to make it fill in the @domain.com part when sending the email?
