In order to promote all developer tooling, we could add a dropdown in the tray that will allow the user to install various CLI tools: odo, etc.

This also raises the issue of what do we do with podman-env and oc-env subcommands. Do we introduce a command that do both (and also includes other tools) ?

Long time ago, in minishift, there was the idea of a button for Launching a developer shell.

+1 to an option to launch a developer shell.

I grabbed some data from the tools-installer and wrote a simple go cli to verify what could work. We can discuss next week or I can clean it up and share, this seems doable.

Development on tray has stalled

Note: launching a developer command line was introduced
