how can enable filters

i'd like to enable a markdown filter a la haml:

%root %child :markdown * item 1 * item 2 * item 3

how can i do this?

This is hard because of the way that indenting is processed within haml-js and markdown. currently there isn't really a depth level tracking in the way you'd like to make markdown work.
